Overview: This well-branded site, which reviewed again in
September of 2006, allows you to distribute your
resume to executive recruiters by discipline,
industry, and geographic preferences. The self-description
on the homepage states that, since 1998, resumezapper.com
is the leading resume distribution service with
10,915 recruiters in its US database and 1,552
recruiters who make international placements.
We found the prices on one of their best services
to be a mixed bag. Specifically, the rate page
noted $15.00 for a confidential email box while
the FAQ page noted $10.00 for the same service.
The same issue that we discuss with a representative
from Resume Zapper in January 2006. Perhaps an
oversight of updating but one that quickly destroys
credibility.

| Points of Comparison: Provides a quick, impartial source of the
10 major benefits and drawbacks of each resume
distribution site reviewed. |
|
Best Feature: A confidential email box that supresses
your contact information if you remove
it from your resume and cover letter.
Worst Feature: All the additional fees: $15.00 for
a list of recruiters to whom your resume
was sent, $20.00 for three additional industries/disciplines,
$15.00 for a confidential email box to protect
your privacy, $29.99 for the double zap
feature that automatically redistributes
your resume (in 30 days). |
